London Temple

Saturday was our Relief Society trip to the temple. I opted to ride in the mini bus with the other YSA's and the sister missionaries. It takes about two hours to drive to Crawley, where the temple is, just south of London. Chris, the new convert came, as did Billie, who is getting baptized this Saturday! Victoria is another YSA who has recently come back into activity. We are all students at Bath Spa Uni, aside from Chris who is teaching Spanish in 6th form schools, which is like high school. It was a grey day, but the temple was really beautiful and it was awesome to wander around the grounds. Another YSA named Carly, who was baptized nearly two years ago, received her endowment that day too, so it was a joyous occasion for all of us ward members who were in attendance.

Me, Sisters Chamberlain & Steffansen (of Norway!), Billie, Victoria, and Chris.

I wanted to fist pump, but it wouldn't be so visible from so far away. Freezing day, but so warm to be near this British-built house of God.
